As dusk transforms the bustling Hollywood Pictures Backlot into a shadowy maze of stages and sets, an eerie supernatural glow
bathes the Hollywood Tower Hotel in a foreboding aura of hypnotic mystery. Despite the distant cries of terror in the air,
you are drawn closer, pulled in by the haunted void lurking inside this monument to faded glamour and glory.
The Tower's crumbling edifice rises even higher now in the night sky, as if gaining otherwordly stature and strength from
the darkness — or is this just a trick of your overactive imagination?
High above, the erratic flickering of the Tower's neon sign evokes the fiery explosion of lightning that tore it apart
over sixty years ago.
Screams of unwise trespassers into this doomed hotel grow louder, echoing across the backlot, but still you proceed toward
your appointment with a most sinister destiny.
The Hotel's stylish architecture and swaying palm trees offer a false sense of security to visitors, but they belie the
haunted history forever locked inside. These spectral forces cannot die nor can they ever be freed from their eternal, ethereal
accomodations. Lonely, lost souls falling in and out of our dimension on an endless ride through the Twilight Zone. You now
stand at the threshold of your own fate, beyond which there is no way out but through — and beyond that, who can
say where your final destination lies?
Take one last look at the Hollywood Tower sign, for it is the flashing beacon that lights your path into the dark and
dusty heart of this shattered behemoth.
Shrieks echoing within the gaping elevator shafts sound the last alarm of warning before you enter. But pay them no mind:
no doubt you will be safe if you limit your tour to the musty lobby and ground floor. Just remind yourself of one important
rule: if you see any button marked UP...
DON'T PUSH IT.

That's the signpost up ahead — a ghastly indication that the powerful curse of the Twilight Zone has been activated
by your presence on this ill-fated evening.
Your rational brain can desperately dismiss this as an illusory trick on your eyes, but the fearful side of your mind
cannot deny that thirteen stories of supernatural forces are already leaking through the Tower's cracked and shattered foundation...
pouring out like a grave-chilled fog to envelope you in its grasp.

Indeed, you have awakened the restless souls of the Hollywood Tower, drawn to your life energy amid their hellish, unending
nightmare.
So don't be surprised if the Hotel staff greets you at the door and asks to take your bags; they live to serve the living,
even beyond death. Just tell them you won't be staying long, you only came to take a quick look inside the dreary lobby.
But don't mind if they laugh at your naive delusion — it's not because they're rude, they simply know better.
For all who visit the Hollywood Tower cannot escape its cobwebbed halls without leaving behind at least some small portion
of their soul or their sanity. Many foolish adventurers have come back to reclaim these lost treasures, only to forfeit even
more of themselves on their return. Sadly these hapless mortals surrender to the futile compulsion to revisit the Tower again
and again... until they pay the ultimate price for their curiosity.
As the 1939 brochures stated: Once you're a guest at the Hollywood Tower, you'll never want to leave.
Your time has come to cross the threshold between light and shadow, and step into the lobby of the Hollywood Tower Hotel...
